Britt & Gloria (and future guests),
Wow!  This is paradise! Our experience here was truly amazing.  The moment we pulled through the gates to Por Dicha we knew we were going to have a once in a lifetime trip.  All of your hard work on the grounds has paid off - it is just so beautiful.  We all enjoyed sitting on the porch watching for birds, we saw so many different species it was so exciting.  Even spotted a monkey one morning.  Loved the small town, especially Moya's, the food was excellent.  The drive to La Fortuna is interesting, too.  Many tourist here but lots of fun activities.  Try Wave Expeditions for white water rafting or a more gentle "safari" float down one of the rivers.  While in La Fortuna try the local bakery, south of the church, they had some really awesome items.  If you really want to see monkeys, try the Hanging Bridges, we saw lots there.
Again this was a wonderful trip and the accommodations were terrific.  Thank you!

What a wonderful place to be.  We had such a relaxed time, great way to decompress.  It is also a great central location for wandering.
Two long day trips, Santa Elena (Monte Verde) and the beach (Flamingo, Conchal, and Tamarindo).  Both are 3 hrs each way, but worthwhile.  Closer attractions were great as well.  La Fortuna, Toad Hall, Arenal volcano, Arenal Observatory Lodge (drive is bumpy, view to kill for), Gingerbread House (huge, awesome salads), macadamia farm, and the pool.  Don't know how we could have had a better time.  Thank you so much for your hospitality.  We will be telling everybody and flashing great pictures at all our friends.

This lakeside garden paradise was a delightful escape from the minus zero, snow-covered frozen tundra where we live!  We felt like we were in a private wildlife preserve and botanical garden - such flora & fauna!  Our favorite was the little red & blue treefrog - found quite by accident - "por dicha"!  Thank you for the hospitality.

Dear Britt & Gloria,
My eyes have gorged themselves on all the beautiful color that surrounds Por Dicha (inside & out).  I don't know if it will be possible to ever be so visually satisfied again.  Thank goodness we took lots of pictures!  Your lovely home is a "feast for the eyes."  We are taking home many bright memories.
Thank you.

Dear Britt & Gloria,
Thank you so much for sharing your piece of paradise with us.  We are truly heartbroken to be leaving and wish we could stay forever!  We will definitely be back.  We have stayed in many luxury hotels in many countries and Por Dicha beats them all hands down.  The comfort, view, gardens, seclusion, and wildlife cannot be beat.  This truly is paradise.  We could spend endless hours sitting on the back porch soaking in the sights & sounds.  We saw more wildlife at Por Dicha than anywhere else!  Tomorrow we head to the beach towns on the Pacific Coast & I honestly don' t want to go!  I want to spend another week here instead!  Por Dicha is a great base from which to explore the surrounding area.  We have done many activities during our stay here.  Our favorites were skytrek, the hanging bridges, and hiking in the Arenal Volcano National Park.  But our absolute favorite day was the day we didn't go anywhere and just enjoyed Por Dicha.  If you ever come across anther slice of paradise like this let us know, we would move here in a heartbeat!  I highly recommend Gingerbread House for a nice dinner out.  The food  is amazing - best salad we have ever had, and the portions are huge.  We loved it so much we went twice.  Thank you for your hospitality and for the attention, care, and love you put into the property and grounds.
P.S.  You have the best rocking chairs EVER!!
